The first predictive maintenance national standard GB/T 40571-2021 General Requirements for Predictive Maintenance of Intelligent Services, which was developed under the leadership of the Institute of Comprehensive Technology and Economics of Machinery Industry Instruments and under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation Standardization, will be officially implemented on May 1, 2022. After the implementation of this standard, the predictive maintenance field has already had a chapter to follow, completely saying goodbye to the era of no standards.


"There are rules to follow"

GB/T 40571-2021 General Requirements for Predictive Maintenance of Intelligent Services establishes a standard definition and classification of predictive maintenance concepts, improves the understanding of the industry and experts on predictive maintenance technology, serves as a guide for technology application, establishes a consensus on predictive maintenance technology, serves as a threshold for technology application, and divides the level of predictive maintenance industry. At the same time, the standard further standardizes the predictive maintenance system architecture, workflow, functional requirements, and application examples of typical equipment predictive maintenance technology, providing specifications and basis for predictive maintenance technology research and engineering implementation, making predictive maintenance technology "rule-based", helping to lead predictive maintenance technology innovation and standardize industry development.
